Complete renovation for maximum light and space

This duplex apartment underwent a full transformation—from upgraded wall insulation to new windows and the installation of roof skylights that maximize natural light and create a bright, spacious atmosphere. The roof was completely redone with a focus on thermal insulation, ensuring year-round comfort. The style blends modern loft living with touches of mid-century and British design—a combination highly appreciated in Pau, offering both personality and rental appeal.

Authentic materials & refined design details

The flooring features a thoughtful combination of restored antique terracotta tiles and classic plank hardwood floors, bringing both authenticity and charm to the interiors. The custom walnut kitchen, with a quartz countertop, balances elegance and durability. Gilded fixtures lend a timeless and refined character, while original brick walls and exposed beams were preserved to add texture and depth. The use of noble materials aligns with the expectations of clients seeking high-quality renovation work in Pau.

Striking ceiling height – a living room with impact

One of the most impressive aspects of the project was opening up the ceiling in the living area, achieving an extraordinary 4-meter height. This bold design move enhances the sense of volume, fills the space with natural light, and creates a spectacular focal point from the moment you enter—setting a unique and luxurious tone for the entire apartment.

Curated vintage pieces and custom furnishings

The interior decoration was crafted with meticulous attention to detail, featuring a blend of vintage furniture and custom-designed elements. Unique pieces by Bruno Rey and Roger Capron bring elegance, while tailor-made curtains add softness and warmth. Stoneware ceramics contribute texture and authenticity. Every piece was carefully selected to infuse the apartment with character—elegant and modern, yet full of soul.

Luxury renovation on a smart budget – designed for profitability

This project was strategically developed to maximize rental profitability while maintaining a high standard of aesthetics and functionality. The careful selection of materials, furnishings, and decor allowed the creation of a luxury long-term rental in Pau without exceeding a smart investment budget.
The total cost of €60,000, including furniture, artwork, and decor, offers an excellent return for the owner and a comfortable lifestyle for tenants.

From 3D vision to reality – follow the transformation

To showcase the full design journey, we’ve included 3D visualizations illustrating the final vision of the apartment, along with progress photos from the renovation site. Final, professional images will be published in a few months upon completion—revealing the project in its fully realized form.
